Early Tuesday morning The Town of Berlin Fire Depts were dispatched to StanChem on Berlin st for a reported fire. Car 11 arrived to find nothing showing from the exterior. Crews from Engine 7 and Truck 9 investigated the area in question and determined that there was no fire just a hazmat situation. DEEP was requested and the incident was scaled back.
